Eliza Joachim
Owner, CEO, and Primary Therapist

My years of experience as an educator and international tutor gave me the skills needed to focus on your treatment plan while also remaining flexible to any distractions life throws in your way. While I received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling, my primary training was in providing individual counseling in both a private practice and large rehabilitation center setting. This gave me the skillset to help guide you through whatever is troubling you and diversity to handle simple to complex issues. Postpartum depression can be difficult and confusing. My heart for women struggling with this and those suffering with poor body image has encouraged me to pour my talents into you. If you are struggling with uncertainty of the future due to Covid-19, with maintaining healthy boundaries, or finding your place in this world, know that I am here to help you too. Starting a mixed family of my own, I take pride in respecting other's cultures and belief systems. Enough about me though, let's talk about you!

I understand addiction, mental health issues, and poor self-esteem more than others because I was forced to conquer them myself. I know how it feels to be hopeless and give up. Thankfully, through great counseling and renewed faith, I also know how it feels to find victory on the other side of this road. This was the contributing factor that encouraged me to pursue my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and work with others who too could use some hope and direction. I've taken my years of experience as a group facilitator in substance abuse centers and combined it with the directional skills I learned as a juvenile probation officer. While I have a heart for the broken, addicted, depressed, anxious, and those suffering from mental health issues...there isn't a situation that I don't feel compassion for. I look forward to listening to your experiences and combining them with mine to create our own.
